Sage Software today announced that the
Buffalo Sabres National Hockey League team has implemented Sage CRM to
automate ticket sales, customer service and marketing activities. Over
thirty Sabres employees access Sage CRM to manage sales and marketing
programs including the Sabres Insider and SabresKidz Clubs. The Sabres have
measured a significant increase in ticket sales and a 20 percent reduction
in customer service administration since implementing Sage CRM in 2004.
"The greatest thing about Sage CRM is the way it ties everything together
for us," explained Tom Matheny, database marketing manager for the Buffalo

In honor of National Health IT Week (June
5-8), Lumetra today announced California participants in Medicare's
groundbreaking two-year Doctor's Office Quality-Information Technology
(DOQ-IT) Pilot Program achieved nearly twice the national rate of
electronic health record (EHR) systems adoption.
As Medicare's Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for California, and
under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), an
agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Lumetra
enrolled 123 practices and more than 700 primary care physicians through
Medicare's DOQ-IT Pilot Program between 2003 and 2005. California
participants in the Pilot showed an EHR adoption rate of 30 percent,
compared to the national average of 17.6 percent.(1)

Vice President George S. McQuade III of
MAYO Communications, Los Angeles, has been nominated to serve a two-year
term as President of Entertainment Publicists Professional Society (EPPS),
a national organization with chapters in LA and New York. The nominations
for president and board positions will be voted on this Thursday, May 18th,

Sage Software announced today that GuideOne
Insurance, one of the nation's largest insurers of churches and faith-based
institutions, has centralized corporate sales and external agency
management using Sage CRM SalesLogix. GuideOne has continually expanded CRM
functionality throughout its organization to departments handling sales,
call center, agency support, underwriting and home office activities. The
